Recreational Classes for All Ages

• Black tank top and black bike shorts.

• Hair should be pulled back in a ponytail or bun.

• Apparatus will be provided or if you have apparatus, you can bring it (rope, hoop, ball etc.).

• Bring a water bottle and a healthy snack for before or after class!

RG Butterflies (Ages 3-4)

This 30-minute weekly class brings together 3- and 4-year-olds to start using rope, hoop, ball, scarves and ribbon with music improving their flexibility and coordination in a fun and safe learning environment. Gymnasts will perform in club shows (Snowflake and Year End).

RG Sparkles (Ages 3-5) 

This 45-minute weekly class brings together 3- to 5-year-olds to start using rope, hoop, ball, scarves and ribbon with music improving their flexibility and coordination in a fun and safe learning environment. Gymnasts will perform in club shows (Snowflake and Year End).

RG Rhythmic Minis (Ages 5-7)

This 60-minute weekly class brings together 5- to 7-year-olds to start using rope, hoop, ball, scarves and ribbon with music improving their flexibility and coordination in a fun and safe learning environment. Gymnasts will perform in club shows (Snowflake and Year End).

RG Unicorns (Ages 7+)

The goal of this 45-minute class is to introduce gymnasts to rhythmic gymnastics in a fun and safe learning environment. Gymnasts will learn apparatus handling (ball, hoop, rope, and ribbon), basic gymnastics movements (pivots, jumps, balances, acrobatic elements, and flexibility) and develop their coordination and balance. Gymnasts will perform a solo or group routine in the Club shows (e.g., Snowflake Show and Year End Show) and may transition to the pre-competitive program or Gymnaestrada.  

Gymnasts can enroll for one or two classes per week.

Class: M 6:15 - 7:00 (Shoreline)

RG Junior Gymnaestrada (Ages 7+)

Gymnaestrada is a celebration of movement and physical activity in a non-competitive environment. The event captures the true essence of the “Gymnastics For All” and “Active for Life” philosophies of sport and recreation. Gymnaestrada encourages a non-competitive environment focusing on active participation for all individuals, regardless of age, gender, skill level or ability. Participants share in the fun and excitement of performing, and demonstrate physical, technical, and creative abilities that are inspired by a wide variety of traditional and non-traditional gymnastics disciplines and movements. It is anticipated the Junior Gymnaestrada will participate in the BC Gymnaestrada held annually in BC. More information here.

RG Rhythmic Ladies (Ages 16 +)

This class is for ladies of all ages (16+) and is an ideal way fto keep fit and flexible physically and mentally. Gymnasts will learn the fundamental skills of rhythmic gymnastics in a fun and safe learning environment. They will be using rope, hoop, ball, scarves and ribbon and non-traditional apparatus such as fans and large scarves. The goal will be to perform in a Club Show (optional).
