We are from Vancouver Island, specializing in rhythmic gymnastics, acrobatics, and dance. Our team consists of 25 athletes ranging from ages 8 to 50, and we come from both recreational and competitive backgrounds. After performing at the Canadian National Gymnaestrada, our team was selected as Team Canada delegates to perform on an international stage. We are very excited to go to World Gymnaestrada in Amsterdam in July 2023.
World Gymnaestrada is a worldwide, non-competitive FIG Gymnastics for All event held every 4 years. Up to 20,000 participants from 50 nations participate in the event. WG is unique because it's for everyone, regardless of gender, age, race, religion, culture, ability or social standing. The focus of the event is Fun, Fitness, Fundamentals and Friendship.
This opportunity allows our gymnasts to do what they love, meet new friends, and have a once-in-a-lifetime experience. However, getting there is the biggest challenge. Donations, sponsorships, and funds raised will go toward travel, accommodation, and administration costs.

The World Gymnaestrada Team will be performing at the WCRG Year End Show June 17 2023 9-1 at Shoreline Community School2750 Shoreline Drive, Victoria BC  V9B 1M6 .
